Eagle Point Train Wreck

September 19, 1887   Wreck of two passenger trains one and one-half miles North of Dubuque on September 19th, 1887. Killed in the wreck were the two engineers and the two firemen. Also killed was a brakeman.   The trains:       Engine No. 406—Engineer Charles Fales   Engine No. 409—Engineer E. Winchester
